Plaquimet has started its training courses at its brand-new Applications Laboratory. They are oriented to optimize the application of gel coat and polyester resins, as well as teaching the new technologies to solve the typical problems in production environments.
The main objective of the courses is to improve the technical skills of employees within the composites sector.
The courses, with a theoretical and practical focus, center on dynamic learning which can be applied to the companies´ day-to-day working life. Participants will have permanet professional support to clarify technical issues, broaden the participants' Vision of the appropriate use of each process and product, obtain better productivity, in order to maximize the cost-benefit of each production process.
The theoretical block covers the basic chemistry of polyester resins, gel coats and their curing systems, in addition to the techniques of implementation and results, test methods, quality control, typical defects and their corrections.
The practical block is based on the state-of-the-art equipment the Laboratory has, developing techniques and demonstrations of applications with a brush, a roller, a gun, gel coat spray machines, sprinklers and laminators.
The course consists of 4 hours of training and it is free of charge. Vacancies are limited for optimal use of resources and one-on-one interactions with the professionals in charge.
COURSES ARE ORIENTED TO:
Engineers. Technicians and production supervisors, development and quality control in composite materials. Gel applicators and laminators.
Disseminate the correct use of the new Plaquimet technologies in order to optimise and thus improve the products and processes of the end user.
